Where the Roomba fits with Amazon
Amazon announced its fourth-largest acquisition ever on Friday with a $1.7 billion buy of iRobot, the maker of the Roomba. This opens up opportunities for Amazon to move further into the smart home market. As with its recent acquisition of One Medical, it also has the makings of a new benefit for Prime.
