What images and features are actually driving clicks and conversions on ecommerce sites? That’s the question Predictive Commerce is setting out to answer. The tool uses AI-generated shoppers to run millions of simulations on a virtual site, and measure the effectiveness of site elements. Founder Parham Aarabi said it’s a faster and more accurate form of A/B testing that doesn’t require humans.

Ecommerce has entered a new era at Walmart. The last three years were about scaling online assortment and delivery. Now, it’s “more about execution and operating margin improvement,” CEO Doug McMillon told CNBC. One key element of this is automation in the supply chain, which will change the workforce composition at the nation’s largest employer. – CNBC

Ecommerce adoption remains strong, as nine out of 10 U.S. adults have received a package via delivery in the last three months and 42% of adults receive a package at least weekly, according to CivicScience.
