After moving to deflation in July, inflation was back for goods sold online in August to the tune of a 0.4% year-over-year increase, according to the Adobe Digital Price Index. This came as the wider US economy saw higher inflation than economists predicted, despite falling gas prices. Rising food costs were a primary driver of both measures.
