Amazon's architect gets the keys to Shopify logistics
Shopify is getting out of the logistics business with a deal that will sell the majority of its fulfillment network to Flexport. Now, software-powered Deliverr and the Shop Promise program will be in the hands of Flexport CEO Dave Clark. He was the architect of Amazon’s vast logistics network, and he’s looking to build again. It’s safe to assume that the Shopify logistics network isn’t done yet.
Grocer Sprouts is using Instacart’s Carrot Ads solution to bring more media opportunities to its marketplace. Through the network, brands can extend Instacart ads to Sprouts’ site, and target consumers solely within Sprouts. – Supermarket News

The Global Port Tracker is now forecasting a lower import total than previously expected for the first half of 2023, as demand continues to dip. “With economic uncertainty continuing, the impact on trade is clear,” Hackett Associates’ Ben Hackett said.
